Allison,
Harlequin reader’s service, didn’t love the set up of brother’s friend teaching her how to flirt, the earlier books in the series sound possibly interesting, going to bring to cellar
Lynn Brooks,
A trip to Oregon with a Maisey Yates story is always a joy! The third book in the Four Corners Ranch series is Hunter and Elsie's story and was quick to catch this reader's heart。 It was slower paced than some in the series and drug a tad but the characters and setting always pick up the slack with this series。 Warmth and sass steal the show when this worldly brother's best friend teaches the spunky youngster a thing or two。 I'm looking forward to more to come in this series as always! Loved the trope in this book, falling in love with your brothers best friend trope can go either good or bad once its revealed to the brothers。 But this book was too sweet for it to go sour。 I loved the chemistry and how easy it was for them to connect。 Their families have a ton of history and I got lost a little bit, and also there is a ton of abandonment issues between these two characters so a lot of it was rushed at the end, but I loved their story and I now I cant wait to read more about th Loved the trope in this book, falling in love with your brothers best friend trope can go either good or bad once its revealed to the brothers。 But this book was too sweet for it to go sour。 I loved the chemistry and how easy it was for them to connect。 Their families have a ton of history and I got lost a little bit, and also there is a ton of abandonment issues between these two characters so a lot of it was rushed at the end, but I loved their story and I now I cant wait to read more about these cowboys。 。。。more

Cowboy Wild Maisey YatesFebruary 21, 2023Elsie Garret was always the baby of the Garrett clan。 Her brothers loved her, helped raise her along with the other men on the Four Corners Ranch。 She was born in a barn and left in the hay by her mother who was tired of being pregnant and having children to clean up after。 Her father was only interested in the children doing his work while he drank。 He beat his wife until one day she left, leaving Sawyer and Wolf to take care of the ranch and Elsie。 They Cowboy Wild Maisey YatesFebruary 21, 2023Elsie Garret was always the baby of the Garrett clan。 Her brothers loved her, helped raise her along with the other men on the Four Corners Ranch。 She was born in a barn and left in the hay by her mother who was tired of being pregnant and having children to clean up after。 Her father was only interested in the children doing his work while he drank。 He beat his wife until one day she left, leaving Sawyer and Wolf to take care of the ranch and Elsie。 They could suffer from his drinking and ugly, nasty self。 At 24 years, she decided it was time to find someone to help her become the woman she was。 She could enjoy life despite the ugly memories。 The Sullivan families had an open door for her and the other in the Four Corners。 Elsie was a true horsewoman。 She learned her trade from the McClouds, especially Hunter。 Now she was helping set up the ranch for McClouds Landing to become a center for equine therapy。 Gus, the eldest McCloud brother was spot on when he hired her to help with clients and train horses。 She worked with Hunter on a daily basis。 Although he was truthful, handsome and an incredible man, she thought of him as a brother until the night at the bar when another cowboy asked her to dance and became a bit too friendly for Hunter’s liking。Cowboy Wild will be published by Harlequin on February 21, 2023。 I am appreciative of their allowing me to read Maisey Yates latest in the Four Corner Ranch series via NetGalley。 She has the ability to give her characters honest, expressive thoughts and feelings。 Both Hunter and Elsie suffered a childhood of being neglected and shunned by their parents。 Each kept the loss of love tucked away inside only for it to creep out in their dreams。Cowboy Wild is an excellent story of family and the capability to circle their siblings with love and understanding。 Four Corners is an outstanding series with Cowboy Wild being an enchanting story。 Do Enjoy! 。。。more

Rebecca,
ARC provided by Edelweiss and the publisher。After reading the books and novellas that came before this … I was really anticipating/looking forward to this one。 I really like the small town stories that Yates crafts and this one was no different。 While I struggled with pacing and felt this dragged a little in places, this was a really satisfying conclusion to the Garrett portion of this community and a nice brothers best friend/best friends little sister story。 I look forward to more stories from ARC provided by Edelweiss and the publisher。After reading the books and novellas that came before this … I was really anticipating/looking forward to this one。 I really like the small town stories that Yates crafts and this one was no different。 While I struggled with pacing and felt this dragged a little in places, this was a really satisfying conclusion to the Garrett portion of this community and a nice brothers best friend/best friends little sister story。 I look forward to more stories from the Four Corners Ranch run in the future! 。。。more

Kristin,
Pretty good! I read a VERY early ARC and this was my very first book from Ms。 Yates but I liked it! I will have to pick up another by her that is actually finished to see if some of the personal quirks I had with this book (which aren't worth mentioning b/c it's an early ARC) are how she actually writes。 Pretty good!
